Start your authority early.
You are not getting rejected. Much of the time you are getting skipped — filtered out before a person ever opens your application, by systems reading signals you did not know you were sending.
An empty profile is not a blank slate.
Recruiting systems rank before they show. When your profile has a headline that reads “Student at” and little else, the systems have nothing to rank you on, so you sit below people who look more legible — not necessarily more qualified. The internship you did, the project you shipped, the language you speak: if they are not written where a machine can read them, they may as well not exist.
This is the part that stings, and it is also the good news. Most of what holds early-career candidates back is not a missing credential. It is a missing description of a credential they already have.

Say what you can do, not what you are enrolled in
“Junior, Business Administration” describes your status. What you can do for an employer is a different sentence, and it is the one the systems index.
Write down the work you have already done
Coursework, competitions, part-time jobs and side projects all count — but only in concrete terms. What you built, who it was for, what changed.
Make your name findable
Early in a career there is little to distinguish you from everyone who shares your name. Consistent details across your profile and the open web are what separate you.
The cheapest moment to fix this is before you need it.
A profile built during a job search has to work immediately. One built a year earlier has time to accumulate the corroboration these systems reward — posts, endorsements, mentions, a record of the same person doing consistent things over time.
